Three Body Problem - excellent book. No notes. Dont watch the Netflix version.
After that things get kind of pretentious and stupid.
Dark Forest feels like a novel long version of that Rick and Morty episode about an out of control AI that knows every movie cliche so they have to go around doing crazy things with no coordination until the very end.
Deaths End starts out interesting and then the timeline stretches to infinity to the point you stop caring about anyone involved. Feels more like a novel sized epilogue. |
