| I was engrossed with this for about the first half. 6 hours?
Then suddenly I just got sick of it and looked the ending up on youtube. Very good at fostering sense of exploration at the start. Hit 3 or so genuine OH SHIT moments with the game's good visual and sound designed. Just got sick of the gameplay after 6 hours though. Quests turned into hunting specific fishes, the fish encyclopedia navigation is ass, and it doesn't tell you where to find specific fish until after you've found them. Some fish can only be found during day or during night. Some can only be caught by nets. Some nets at night. The game won't tell you until after you've caught one. I started immediately looking it up in a guide the instant I got specific fish quests, and by the 3rd or 4th one I quit and looked up the ending. The ending is absolutely not worth it. This probably isn't a full review :( |
