Is that the multiplayer Q3 ripoff of Shitty Action Half-Life? Then no, that's no good.
AHL would require about 10 reviews to capture all the suck that TEAM AKIMBO!!! managed to lazily and sloppily cram into that mod. Back when one of the early and horrible betas came out, oddjob (I think), one of the team members, used to play on public servers. He would begin to hyper-ventilate if anyone spoke poorly of the mod and attempt to hunt them down. Even if it was "I fell about 3 feet but I lost 80% of my health... will you guys fix that bug?" "Realism!" he would screech in reply, before killing them with his sniper rifle. Later they made the default name for players oddjob, and it became impossible to tell the original from the legions of semi-retarded fanboys who couldn't manage to change their nick. Programming is hard, etc. but if you listened to TEAM AKIMBO!!!!!! any problem was valve's fault; "They released a patch that totally fucked over AHL! can't they program????" and so on. They also started an action unreal tournament much to everyone's confusion, but they seemingly gave up about 2 years ago. The best part is that, from what I recall, basically none of the ActionQ2 guys are part of the current team, there is just a sad pack of imposters that seemingly failed to understand the charm of the original. Many of these changes were made, of course, in the name of realism, whatever on earth that means to mod makers. Someone somewhere long ago pointed out that to most game makers realism in a FPS was character moves extremely slowly and shooting head = instant death. AHL is the most realistic game ever made.
