| Apparently it took them four years to update their project to Visual Studio 2019 which sounds insane unless you've observed that practically every game and application that installs on Windows needs to install 00s-era VC++ runtimes at install time for the very same reason.
It does call into question why they didn't just rewrite it from the ground up in Qt, I think if you gave me 4 years to make an mp3 player in Qt I bet I could do it and I don't currently know C++. |
