For starters, if you tranquilize animals that you're planning to eat (rather than kill them outright), the meat will stay fresher and, as a result, you'll get more benefit from eating it. We were also told that in addition to poisonous foods, the game will feature foods that Snake--whose stomach will growl when he gets hungry, incidentally--likes or dislikes. Intriguingly, though, if you repeatedly eat foods that he dislikes, there's a good chance that he'll eventually acquire a taste for them.
I predict this to be a horrible, boring and/or tedious gameplay mechanic. OR WILL IT BE A TOP SELLER LIKE THE SIMS?! I hope there is secret suprise gameplay that features Snake with a full bladder--which he lets you know about by crossing his legs--and you having to relieve him behind a tree.
When talking about MGS3 have I made a joke about eating "things that would make a billygoat puke!" ???
You probably have to make sure you change into a pair of camoflage pants with a silent zipper or some new space-age silent velcro. |
