The games in this collection contain offensive depictions of people and cultures rooted in racial and ethnic prejudices. These stereotypes are deeply harmful, inexcusable, and do not align with our values at Crystal Dynamics.

Rather than removing this content, we have chosen to present it here in its original form, unaltered, in the hopes that we may acknowledge its harmful impact and learn from it.


This reads like something you'd preface the old Tomb Raider games with when you upload them to the Internet Archive, not when you spend years faithfully remaking them - down to every last deeply harmful detail - and try to sell them for a profit. Like, apparently they're not exploiting the suffering of indigenous peoples for monetary gain, they're just using this teachable moment to make themselves a better corporation? But they already understand this game is inexcusable and doesn't align with their values? But they want $39 for it? Okay.
