| One thing that was infuriating after a few seasons was the bad starts that the Saints had under Payton. We'd lose to some chud team with a rookie QB. We'd be like 2-2 going into the bye and then suddenly rip off 6 wins in a row. Considering how important the #1 seed is in football, it'd have been nice to win some of those, but that is just how it goes with Sean.
Say that the Dolphins scored 40 instead of 70, nobody out here would be losing their minds. He is a good coach and now has two signature victories from - and I mean no offense! - a Broncos team without a lot of A-list talent and All-Pros. I love Payton so much. |
