The "artistic" part, then, is getting the source image but then also describing exactly what I want it to be manipulated too. If I worked at Valve I'd just go get a set made or whatever, but as just one unfunded guy, it's cool and it's up to me to have a good enough description for the end product to be something I can use. I had a picture of a floppy disk that I took and I was trying to get Midjourney to create an image where there were thousands of them scattered on a hill. I haven't successfully done that yet, the floppy disks don't look right. But I feel it can be done if I imagine what I want to see and give it the right description. I dunno. In this case I see it as a very useful tool. |
