This really bothers me by laudablepuss 07/21/2023, 3:22pm PDT This awful take that Kirk should be court-martialed for not raising the shields is the consensus view now and it's so stupid. BUT here's a more thoughtful argument in a different direction. I don't agree that we should believe what Khan says and am skeptical that he understands how Star Fleet and the Federation work, but other parts of this are pretty good.
