so most places that serve it use another anise liquor, but most bartenders don't know how to serve it at all. (The absinthe is supposed to be coated on the inside of the glass.)
It's a great elegant drink, maybe a bit too sugary. Goes down very cool, like liquid menthol, minus the bite of actual mint. Gets me drunk. I love it. |
