| ...I'm always just playing at maximum zoom for full situational awareness.
This has got to be the best Mech-based strategy game I've ever played. Relatively zippy walkers trading fire with dangerous tanks and using surrounding buildings as cover, Godzilla-style. It even incorporates Battletech-style "kill the meat to maximize salvage" mechanics so much better. The main difficulty I had at first was the unintuitive way the game makes you choose when your attack happens on the timeline first then mark the actual target of the attack, even though you're going to immediately fine-tune the timeline position of your attack afterward. |
