| So the Qwest bill comes (note that this has nothing to do with our normal ISP bill). Should be the usual $120. EXCEPT IT ISN'T. IT'S FUCKING $209!
a) they didn't change over the line. We're still on a 256/256 line that BURSTS to 640/640, despite waiting an extra 24 hours for the changeover when the line for the site was initially going up so that we could have 640/640 bursting to 768K. Motherfucking cunts. YOU MOTHERFUCKING CUNTS THAT'S 5, COUNT 'EM 5 QWEST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES, SALESMEN, AND TECHNICIANS WHO HAVE FUCKING OUTRIGHT KNOWINGLY LIED THEIR ASSES OFF TO ME. b) they charged us $40 + $4 tax for a box of 'free' DSL filters they told us we wouldn't be charged for when I called them last month and asked. So I call Qwest and yell more than usual. A) and B) should be solved soon for a one time charge as of 1/16 5PM IF THEY AREN'T LYING TO ME AGAIN (I promise nothing). The transition *should in theory* not even cause a flicker, but I've heard that one before, too. One time charge of $30 and the monthly bill goes up by $11/mo., of course. Next up: the $50/mo charges from MSN that shouldn't EVEN BE ON THE BILL ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY EXPLICITLY TOLD US OUR MSN ACCOUNT WAS CANCELED WHEN OUR ACCOUNT WAS SWITCHED FROM MSN TO BLARG BACK IN FUCKING NOVEMBER BECAUSE OF THAT SALESMAN'S STUPID FUCKING IDIOCY GODFUCKINGDAMNIT. So I've just been waiting on hold, right this second, for 20 minutes as of this writing waiting for an MSN representative, and the line clicks off. They hung up on me. They FUCKING HUNG UP ON ME. *snap* Folks, my activities this evening are going to warrant some headline news tomorrow. Consider this entertainment for you via justice for me. Enjoy, --SB |
