Now that's something I haven't thought about in a long time. Even Windows ditched the hour glass cursor for "wait," replacing it with a throbber (the circle that spins, usually blue in color). In the real world, about the only thing I can see anyone buying an hourglass is the tiny ones about 5cm tall, used as a 3 minute egg timer.
But, for those who want the elegance of a wood-topped hour glass - or one mounted on a flip cage - Amazon sells them, in various combnations of 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minute timers, anywhere from about $15 to $35 or more. |
