HOST leans right into quarantine and uses all the signals and signifiers of 2020 Zoom life as a beneficial set of constraints. The beginning of the movie is a screencast of someone starting a Zoom call. I do that like 5, 6 times a day right now. If you are a remote worker right now then this is a horror movie set in your life as it is right now. It's The 2020 Ghost Movie, and if there's a merciful God all this stuff will be a faint memory 2 years from now.
