| Yeah yeah, no private citizen in their right mind still pays for Adobe products, or even uses them anymore when any alternatives at all are available.
B-b-b-b-bBUT!...Companies still do. And everyone has probably had to suffer through using Acrobat, the worst PDF editor possible, at work. Today we hit a doozy. Someone kept getting an error message "The document cannot be printed". How fucking specific! It was some clueless house frau secretary who still trusted Adobe. The rest of us told her to just open and print it in a browser, and it worked. Fucking management though insisted that everything be done through Acrobat, so ordered us to get to the bottom of it. The culprit? She wasn't logged into her Creative Cloud account. You have to be logged in to Adobe's fucking U-Play Games For Windows Live HORSESHIT in order to print PDFs (or files from any program in their suite?). Let that retardation sink in. Then pile onto it the most unhelpful error message ever. How FUCKING hard would it have been to tell the user, "You need to be logged in to our pointless DRM in order to print anything. Fuck you!" ? |
