Previous to that I had an HP Pavilion. A couple of data points:
- The graphics card of my old HP was a Geforce 1050 TI, which is physically larger than the 3060 TI. They are both huge but the old card does fit in the old case.
- The Newegg case has a fuckton of huge loud case fans in it, which I presume they assume was required. My HP didn't have those. So heat might be a problem.
- According to this the power supply is not adequate (a 3060 requires 200W on its own, looks like TP01s have a 180W PSU. My old PSU had 300 which probably wouldn't be enough either.)
- The case organization is built around everything being locked down and minimum cable length everywhere as you hinted at, so upgrading the hardware would be a pain.
IMO a Newegg prebuilt is the way to go, but I would say that because I just bought one. |
