It's just complicated to handle. The shared api stuff? Works fine. The saving a var and using it in the next call? Works fine. Any time it didn't work was because some shit was misconfigured in my env, or in the call as saved.
Defining a big chunk of re-usable whatever requires to the people writing it to know what they are doing instead of implementing everything ad-hoc. I don't think Postman particularly lowers that burden (I really am not a big fan of the interface), but it does make authoring such a corpus achievable and very much collaborative.
Either security/ops has hamfisted your network, or you are holding it wrong.
