I have a truckload of Argentinian Pesos that says he definately will, and worse. During the Iran-Iraq war the Iraqis liked to flood great lakes of oil across the landscape to corrale Iranian troops into kill zones. Must have been spectacular.

Thing is, in Gulf War I, everyone expected the Kuwaiti fires would be burning for something like three years. As I recall, they were out within that many months.
