| Yes, agreed. I won't bore you with my wintel specs, lets just say that the only thing alienware and the rest have on me is that 3.06Ghz P4. My wintel box is awsome, so much so that i am thinking of installing BSD on it to make it usefull (dual-boot) but all I use it for is games (and pr0n).
Web browsing, emailing, work-- anything of any real value, any thing I create is done on the apples. Which is why I noticed and mentioned. By the way, does anyone know why Apple jacked in a nvidia geforce to go in the new 17" high-endest powerbook they just released? the rest have the Radeon 9000 mobile, which the press wonks say is the best mobile graphics chip available (really mobile pixel shaders). Wrong forum for this though. sorry. |
