I tried playing Daggerfall this week. by Ice Cream Jonsey 04/16/2021, 6:18am PDT
The controls are awful, there's no other way to put it.

I have no idea how to cast a spell - the game says hit Backspace. That brings up the spell casting menu. I think I have picked "Shock." After exiting the spellcasting menu, the game put a line up that said, "Press the button to cast the spell." THE BUTTON. I can see how to recast a spell, but nothing in the game tells you how to actually cast it. (I could look it up in the manual, I guess.) (The reference card has nothing.)

I found this on Reddit:

1)"Backspace" bring up Spellmenu
2)Double Click "SHOCK"
3)Then Press "E"key (that I assigned as Activate KEY)


Nothing in the game or reference card tells you to do this that I could see. It's just a different way of making computers games.
