I thought it was directed 10% at the movie, which HSW even defends at times on the merits of Williams rising above his alter-ego, and 90% at the man himself, whom if HSW's description is correct I wouldn't be able to listen to his sermon without becoming physically and violently ill. Sweet Baby Jesus (in <20hr!11!). I truly thought the whole story was made up or based on an extremely obscure reference. I never dreamed it was so faithful to some breathing fuckbucket like this.
On the plus side, I will get to meet HSW who has pledged to wipe every physical copy of the movie from the face of the earth, one of which was received by my fiance last year for Christmas from her brother as a sort of one-degree of separation due to the fact she's a nurse. Awakenings would have been nice in keeping with the medical theme and Williams as a Doctor, but no, the lowest hanging fruit for her admittedly mentally challenged brother, Patch Adams, is hidden behind my other tapes. That and Jurassic fucking Park are the embarassments of my collection. Even explaining the truth about it's origin does not affect the insults I get because of it. |
