| On a completely different note, I recently upgraded from a GTX 960 to a GTX 1660 super.
Unreal Engine 4 games' performance is night and day better, unity less so, but they always seemed to run better on the old card. I can indeed now run Witcher 3 on ultra settings with hairworks and get smooth framerates. Shadow Warrior 2 I can also run full blast without slowdown. Games with crappy optimization like Fictorum still run like crap. I'm pleasantly surprised that Nex Machina no longer has slowdown, I always thought it was my CPU choking on the voxels with that one. Also I'm shocked the build quality difference between the old EVGA cards I'd been using for years and my new MSI card. Feels like the difference between a PSP and a Nintendo DSi XL. |
