| It's not great because so much of Star Wars has been shit, it's great because it is a space western in a franchise we like.
Holy shit, the "I'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE REEEEEEE" from people (not Vested, he gets a lot of shit here but I'm talking other stuff I've read) is insane. Yes it is in a universe we like. Yes, they used Jawas instead of a new chaotic race tempted by candy. Can you imagine if these low rent idiots were hucking their shit in the 80s? "Oh they brought back Khan for Star Trek 2, this sucks, we've seen this character before." Each time they turn a page in a novel it's like they are disappointed that the same characters from page 79 show up on pages 80 and 81. Or they are just clickbait idiots. We get one space western a decade, anyone who doesn't like this hates Star Wars (fair) or space westerns (fair) and won't like anything (this is me being unfair but fuckem). |
