| I assume it was dumped when Todd Tuckey put the ROMs up here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4uiqFf0OlQ - if that is not what happened, it doesn't matter for my point because they weren't dumped before 2015.
MAME team got it working in 0.173 of MAME. It is now 2019. 213 is the latest version and the 0.193 ROM doesn't work in 0.213. The game was OUT OF THE WORLD FOR THIRTY YEARS and then dumped and the fucking MAME team still fucked with the ROMs, eliminating backwards compatibility. It really is the absolute worst part of this shitty project. Maybe if you're running the latest version of MAME and it detects an "old" version of ROMs (which, and I cannot stress this enough, don't change) they could point you to the version that supports it? They could run the game in a "safe" mode? They could do anything but say fuck you? ICJ |
