| THE WISH: PUBG with the nephew where he takes the gamepad and I take the keyboard and mouse.
THE REALITY: We played Guns, Gore and Canolli 2 for an hour. I was going to have us do PUBG, but 1) I have to remove the Blink(1) USB thing I have and I didn't feel like doing that and 2) even when things go right, PUBG is the only game on Steam that won't start sometimes. So we played GGC2 and had a lot of fun. I am not saying that any co-op side scroller would not have been equally as good, but GGC2 does everything right. It's just difficult enough for an 11 year old and I love that he attempts to call out strategies. When he really can't progress I get to be the hero because I've been playing these things on a keyboard forever. It's a good game, nobody ever talks about this series it seems. I took a screenshot but Steam didn't save it. |
