Now he didn't announce he was leaving in this thread, but it was the last major discussion I remember him taking part in before leaving the site. And I started out DEFENDING him in that thread.
To be clear, I don't think Fabio is alt-right at all, I think he's a liberal-centrist. Unfortunately the #resistance centrists, in their rock-solid certainty that they're the adults in the room, get taken for suckers by the right-wing again and again and drag progressives down with them. "Don't you stupid kids realize we can reach a reasonable compromise with fascists if you'd just stop provoking them?"
His taste in games was almost the polar opposite of mine, but I still enjoyed our discussions nevertheless. I'm sad he left just like I'm sad Zseni left.
