Slipstream came out yesterday. I think they are very similar as far as trying to appeal to the same kind of people. Horizon is "modern" retro - clean lines. no graphical distortions. Slipstream is very much a late 80s racer that we are playing today. It's got the exact number of frames to look like Atari or Sega made it in 1988. It's fine and I am glad I bought it, but it seemed to me that there was more pleasure to be had going around the courses in Horizon. Of course, if Slipstream had come out first I am sure I would have spent an hour on that instead. Both are fun and should be picked up by people into this sort of thing.
