I'm really enjoying this. It's a roguelite. Randomly generated dungeons, sort of diablo-y but MORE action. I am playing it with a gamepad, ymmv with a mouse.
It has a shit-ton of different abilities divided into five (six?) elements. Basic setup is sort of Diablo 3-like in that you get to assign a basic attack with no cooldown, a dash, a normal ability on a cooldown, and a signature ability on a cooldown. Signature moves are an enhanced version of a normal ability. You also get two more empty ability slots for picking up more abilities from a shop or a drops during the game. There are also artifacts that add some kind of effect. You get to pick one to take with you, and have room for like 7 more. Oh, you also pick a wizard robe with a few stats. That's it for itemization.
Combat feels like...a way, way more advanced Binding of Isaac? I guess the way mobs spawn when you enter a "room", though the rooms are continuous without that 2d Zelda-load-a-new-screen effect. It's fast and there is lots of shit flying but you have unlimited dashes with only a slight delay.
It really feels nice when the random gods are kind and you get a good ability combo going and are ZWEE FIGHTING with your dash and shootin elements out everywhere.
