| They don't let you just have a list of your favorite writers on mobile that is easy to get to, as far as I can tell. But the whole reason I subscribed is because I was interested in the writers.
They seem weirdly obsessed with getting you stories by cities. Which is okay, but at $36 a year I just want to read the good articles about any and all teams. When it comes to shitty writing bingo, three of the top ten are, "There's a lot to unpack here" (absolutely insipid), "Not a good look" (impossible to take anyone seriously as an adult that says that) and "Gross". On day one Don Banks said that Matt Patricia being absolved of any wrongdoing 20 years ago was "not a good look." "Not a good look." Sportswriting is probably still dead. It's not as dead as games journalism, though. |
