Jira's new UI is really something else by Ice Cream Jonsey 02/16/2018, 9:31pm PST
Like many of you, I'm too busy at work. I learned how to get around the UI for Jira that was in existence until a week or so ago.

They changed it, they changed everything. It looks like the .css file is missing. I don't need fucking minimal UX for bug and feature tracking software.

The best part is, they just reached a point where they turned the new UI on, your preference be damned. During an incredibly busy week at work I had to waste time sitting there, staring at the screen, hunting for functionality that used to be there, which was transformed into an icon. Though in many cases, the stuff you wanted to do is just gone.

Is there a single advantage to the new UI? I remember cretins and bootlickers saying that if you started with Microsoft Word's "ribbon" you'd prefer it. That was dumb and moronic and history has proven that correct. I'll just answer, no, there isn't a single advantage to Jira's new UI.
