| I think this guy (maybe willfully, or wishfully) misunderstands what's going on here. These differences are not viewed as matters of opinion.
In olden times, there was an area of overlap between Christian and Islamic dogmatism that at least one guy called the "ethno-religious frontier" where directives like, "ALL HEATHENS MUST BE KILLED" just weren't practical because the other guys were RIGHT THERE, don't want to be killed, and were actually needed for some things. So learning to live with each other was something that had to happen. Now, with the internet on one hand and self-segregation (where blue and red folks are increasingly moving to blue and red places) on the other, where is that frontier? Facebook? :( |
