Any dating app that tries to move towards this model of "both sexes have to make the first move" and pretend that an asymmetrical gender dynamic simply doesn't exist is doomed to failure. The worst is of course Bumble which expects women to make the first move. Anyone over the age of 15 with any experience in the real world outside their gender studies class knows that this doesn't work.
