Musicians have an excuse to act weird, they're getting laid. SO crazy all for show. They're usually typical suburban kids adopting the rock & roll lifestyle, so they're acting all broken to write songs and get laid. I don't buy it. Most comedians are uncool neurotics with awful childhoods, and they don't end up back at some party bus with everybody--but alone in an old shitty hotel room, and if they're lucky enough to bring a groupie with them, it's just some drunk chick with crooked teeth making a bad mistake.
The only thing that surprised me about the Louie story was how polite he was. To ask permission of the ladies, then the next instant be naked and beating it on a LA-Z-Boy, that's skill. Like practice type skill. Almost impressive, and not illegal in any way. But no way to laugh at his jokes ever again, so he's out. I dunno though, all the rest of the comedians look pretty suspicious, I bet all of them have done some creepy insane shit at one time or another, every one of them. Especially the sneaky ones who look sane like Seinfeld.
Anyway, maybe it's safe to laugh at Gallagher? |
