I thought the Xbox E3 MixPot would be the dumbest name I ever heard for a Microsoft product or service but then they went ahead and called their new Xbox the fucking Xbox One X and just blew that out of the water. During the Forza segment they revealed to the world for the first time the brand new Porsche 911. Wow! It looked exactly like every other 911. Maybe it had some new holes in it? Speed holes? Fuck you Dan Greenawalt. Apparently the Xbox One X is going to have more memory bandwidth than I can stay awake for and play all the latest BioWare Assassin's Creed post-apocalyptic MMORPG job simulators. When they showed the game where you play as a space dwarf and mine gold inside an asteroid while alien spiders try to wear down your turret defenses/will to live I knew it was going to be a long 90 minutes. Then near the end they announced the Xbox One was getting backwards compatibility with original Xbox games and suddenly I gave a shit! I would totally buy a $599 Xbox One X to play original Xbox games, provided it supported enough of them. I know they say backwards compatibility is the feature everybody asks for and no one actually uses, but all I can wonder is who the hell cares if we use it or not if we buy your overpriced third-place asshole console to get it? Would it be smarter to include a feature nobody asked for but everybody has to use, like a built-in camera that automagically sends your eye movements to advertisers? How about a Halo TV series executive produced by the guy who took all the guns out of E.T.? You stupid cunts. You stupid, stupid cunts. |
