I watched the first couple of levels and it almost turned me off. Played through and again, the first couple levels almost turned me off.
Jungle, Underground Sewage Facility straight out of Half-Life, Caves....around Mission 4 it begins to get a little more interesting, and things take off from there. The last 3rd of the game I enjoyed the most, felt most like the original Titanfall. I'd give it a 7/10 I think. Worth 40$ off Amazon.
Haven't played the multiplayer, don't care to. From all the reviews I've heard it plays a lot slower than the original Titanfall and that's kind of missing the point of the game. Titanfall's frantic playstyle was a callback to Unreal and Quake and just turning it into a boring Battlefield clone ruins that.
