Not sure how much of this is accurate, but I read that Brock learned a new system in Houston that maybe doesn't play to his strengths. Looks like they did whatever they had to do to get Siemian going.
The financial rewards of looking competent at quarterback are unlimited. Everything I know about supply and demand (read: not much) would make me think that coaches, trainers, gurus, whichever would be coming out of the woodwork to get guys to the point where they can make those quick decisions. I guess you can't teach arm strength but that is so rarely the problem. There's like 15 guys at all time who can play QB and not hurt ya.
One of my links was to a breakdown of his games with the Broncos, where he was supposedly familiar with the offense, although with a new coach last year. Setting aside any difficulty with the system, his mechanics are frequently terrible and therefore his passes are often not on target. As for Siemian, he was here last year so this is his second year learning Kubiak's/ Rick Dennison's system. I don't think they are merely doing whatever it takes to get him going. The game plan was noticeably simpler when Paxton Lynch started.
Not sure what you're saying next. What about those 15 guys? |
