A new roguelike on Steam for $5 (and on sale right now for $4 and change!) You try to ascend a spooky hotel in search of the Main Vampire. On the way, you meet humans and monsters and vampires, and occasionally turn into all three. Inventory and stuff is all highly simplified, but the user interface is outstanding, and the charm of the writing and music is great.
Plus, one extremely cool bit is, as the day progresses, sunbeams flow in through broken windows, slowly moving across the rooms, which you can use to strategically burn up vampires, or if you happen to be a vampire, avoid.
It's all quite nice, and a steal at the price. |
