I was in a Bundle in a Box with a Cognition game. They certainly looked cool but I had been burned by a decade of bad adventure game puzzles. The fact that they avoid it as much as they did is a really huge boon.
I need to run puzzle solutions by you at some point over the next year, just like giving you a web form that would let you click a button if it was stupid video game logic. Stupid video game logic is a really easy trap to fall into, but I think it's more interesting to try to model real world shit. There definitely seems to be a blinder that evolves, seeing how most adventure games fall victim to it. :/
