System Shock 2 While there's the usual "seriously??" responses, he's not alone I'm going to have to second this. I mean, I enjoyed it somewhat, but I was seriously disappointed when I played it (and that was after lowering my expectations from all the praise it had received). In fact, it was after playing this game that I decided to be extra cautious of purchasing highly praised games, especially classics. IOh I think he is very disappointed by the game's extremely obnoxious respawning and rightly so. I enjoyed SS2 immensely until the respawning started reaching perverse levels. I even gave it another go a year later I think, but it kept annoying me to no end and I quit the damned thing. Oh god yes, finally somebody bit the bullet and said it! HL2 and FF7 also were repeated answers. GOG took away the ability to sort reviews by date or stars (still one of the worst changes they've ever made) but I'd be curious if people who played SS2 more recently for the first time give it 5 stars. |
