All investments have risk and I don't think it's particularly sleazy if they fake up the interest a little. If they are even doing that. I also love that they started their own site. Kickstarter has never done anything but shrug when someone fucks up a campaign. At the least KS could give some of the money they pocketed back to backers. I kinda hope someone comes up with something that ends KS. But then I do like a scoop of drama every now and again.
