| As soon as I got the beam for the broadside, holy shit. They're hitscan so you can even pop the nimble fighters like grapes under a boot heel. Getting a ship more balanced toward broadside firepower, then heading to the next system over and slapping a tier higher broadside beam and shields on it turns you into a manual Death Blossom.
