| I have had some problems with my eyes recently, so much so I had to call 9-1-1 last Saturday and go to the hospital because of severe pain over my right eye and sensitivity to light in my left. I was issued a prescription for a nasal spray (generic for Flonase) due to sinus pressure, and eye drops to relieve the pain until I could see a doctor. There is something in my right eye, I can feel it, and there may be something in my (good) left eye which might explain the photophobia and why over the last six months I've gone from normal vision to inability to read most small print without magnification.
So I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do much video editing as trying to read much or focus on controls and such for editing can be painful. I also only recently got my networking and network hard drive reset properly after I was in the hospital and recovery facility from May-June. I also have to deal with the lawsuit filed against me and my company by American Express. I can ignore it but I don't want to give them a default judgment - which they really can't enforce - and in any case my company isn't liable pursuant to Maryland law regarding third-party liability for contracts which are not in writing and signed but because I need to find it badly all of a sudden I can't. So I am both visually impared and have other matters to attend to. I'll see what I can do but if things with my vision remaib status quo I'm probably not going to be able to do them any longer. I have another medical center I've been referred to - the doctor I went to see on Friday did not have the type of equipment movable enough to handle a wheelchair-bound patient - and I'm going to the place he referred me to on Monday. |
