Post IDs & a merge by Ice Cream Jonsey 04/20/2005, 11:12am PDT Hey, Pointy just goes and grabs the next available post ID when it's time to make the magic happen for the latest installment of Fag NT, but what would it do if there were a gap due to a databse merge? If we were going to start the old posts on post 20,000 and there was a gap there, would Pointy fill in the missing numbers and then jump to 20,001 after a merge? ICJ
