| Did the Apex Rising mission the other night and fought the AI, won. It was late, so I saved and quit. Continued my game today, it was saved BEFORE the fight. Ok, I guess it didn't load the latest save. I know exactly what time I quit the other day, and none of my saves had that time. FUCK, maybe I didn't save? So I replay the fight all over again, it takes 10 years, and eventually I win. Again. This time I save. Now my character can't move at all. I've had this happen before, so I try clicking around, opening and closing the menu, no dice. Fine, I'll reload my fucking save. It didn't save. Try saving again, it doesn't save. Try creating a new save, it doesn't save. Try overwriting every FUCKING save in the save file list, and it doesn't save. No error message, it closes the save menu like it always does on a successful save, but it doesn't save anything. Find out there's a debug console and someone mentioned they saved through that, but nowhere can I find any save command. I can find a big list of debug commands, but none of them relating to saving. F5 doesn't work. I can still pan the camera around and open the menu, but I can't move. I tried fiddling with various options to see if that would jumpstart movement, but nope, I'm permanently stuck forever and can't save. In fact, at some point my Save Game button turned itself off completely. That's how committed it is to not letting me save. So ragequit, I'm not going back to finish their broken fucking game.
All you have to do is not disable the part of your game where I get to interact with it, and you fuck that up. Then you turn off the part where I can at least save my progress until I wind down and stop hating you. Now I will never stop hating you. |
