and I still can't be bothered to buy it. Never even got around to finishing season 1. BECAUSE ANNABELLE WAS OBVIOUSLY THE BEST PART!
Their games keep getting worse. First it was the total elimination of puzzles, now it's the elimination of your choices meaning shit. I recently tried replaying the final episode of The Wolf Among Us where it LOOKED like there were finally a lot of branching decisions. Do I do my duty or take the bribe? Go after this guy or this guy? Kill the guy or let him go?
Turns out nothing changes. If you do something that would change the pre-ordained story (take Crooked Man's deal), some character has an outburst before BIGBY says anything that cancels out your decision. Other choices don't even give a justification for ignoring you; you get a choice which car to follow and he always follows the same one no matter which you pick.
All the reviews of the Game of Thrones game say it's even worse there. At this point there's zero difference from watching these on Youtube. |
