How come some people are corruption apologists? They're ignorant as to what constitutes a bribe in the least. Oblivious on the details of any business law (competition, antitrust etc.), or ramifications thereof. This goes for both the writers looking to go through the industry's revolving door & their sycophants. I also think they want to be swept up in some Great Cause as it gives them a reason for spending all that time on Twitter...
I can somewhat agree that "nobody cares about games journalism tabloids", but only since there are no direct lobbyists at the federal level to see it as a threat. Otherwise, that's a miserable defense of graft and payola. |
