| I don't know why. All the warning signs were right there. It looked like all the worst of Monkey Island humor meets family guy for weeaboos loving the idea of a comatose waifu named after how defendant she is on you to save her (from all the other asshole guys who are bidding on her at auction, I'm totally different from them!). Deponia was so shitty waifu looking that it almost singlehandedly validates Sarkesian's insanity.
Plus it was made by those Chains of Chekov or whatever game. Gorgeous art that looks great for screenshots, but falls apart the instant you see it in motion making the animation of South Park look like Disney. Watching 30 seconds of a lets play warns you what a bland whining cumsock the main character is. At least it was only $3 and I wasn't dumb enough to spring for the trilogy pack. |
