those games always looked kind of way too terrible to be worth it, even with Sulu or the pirate Klingon guy showing me the ropes and eventually needing to be rescued by the bright new hotshot recruit. Plus my old video card came with the Star Trek RTS and Messiah, both terrible beyond words (and a wonderful showcase for a new video card WTF), and worth holding a grudge against shitty star trek games for years.

every time i picked up one of the space battle Star Trek games i want so bad to be awesome i see the fucking Gorn as a playable race. If they've run out of ideas so quickly that you have time to put Gorn anything in the game then they're...i dunno...threatening to break the queer/time continuum or something.

The moral of the story is i bought Dominion Wars because a)DS9 is awesome, and b)no Gorn anywhere on the box!

The dork in me would like to think that in a universe filled with evil Romulans and Klingons and backstabbing Ferengi that the lizard monster Gorn finally went extinct. But then the part of me that knows why Enterprise was cancelled (sucking) gently explains that they were just finally written out in embarrassment.
