+You can revisit levels at any time and change the difficulty at will.
+Autosaves are few and far between, but you can save anywhere/anytime
+Your special goblin abilities use mana, but the goblin clone (as long as it doesn't get murdered) and batman vision give you a full mana refund as long as you wait a second after using them.
+The Batman vision has a VERY short timer, so you won't spend the whole game with shining orange people and ledges
+There's lots of vertical level design. My favorite part was tracing a ceiling beam way back down the level to find an alternate route after getting killed over and over.
+Lots of brutal face stabbing.
+Lots of fun little secret passages that lead to treasure, easy ways past enemies, or something that'll let you kill a whole bunch of guys.
-If you turn off the objective indicators, some shit becomes straight ridiculous to find. I ended up murdering everyone in the last section of the first level before giving up and turning the markers on for a few seconds. Turns out there was a secret door in a not so obvious place :
-Poisoning water and food with vomit wasn't as fun as I had hoped.
-Jumping down on enemies to kill them and killing from cover are locked from the start, which leads to a lot of awkward moments in the first level where you're perfectly positioned to ninja kill a dude, but have to carefully climb down and stabby stab. |
