| EL is a beautiful creation, much richer and more compelling than its predecessor. The interface is just as smooth and glitzy as ever. The map is gorgeous enough to make the Game of Thrones credit sequence blush.
I just can't get into it. There's almost TOO MUCH going on, and yet at the same time it still feels a little too much like the old "FIDS-grab" of Endless Space. I would like someone smarter than me's opinion on it. It's not "beautiful but bad" like Ancient Space, or even "beautiful but soulless" like Endless Space. It's beautiful and probably very good. I just don't like it. Maybe fantasy 4x just isn't my thing. |
